My blog will be a dumping ground for thoughts, inspirations, concerns or struggles of reading instruction in the classroom. It will include considerations of how different topics influence students from diverse linguistic, cultural, and socioeconomical backgrounds. My personal point of view will focus on slow learners, students with IEPs, and students with learning disabilities. I have just begun my 16th year as a special education and deaf/hard of hearing teacher.
